Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas all! Finally, my parents get the message and get me Mario Kart Wii for Christmas and also a new camera. So, you will probably be seeing more photos in the near future, especially near New Year’s. So, our Christmas wasn’t exactly traditional. We completely forgot to put some sherry and mince pies out for Santa last night. Oh well, at least he won’t be found drunk near out house.

Sacreligious Sports!

Well, from NaNoWriMo to exams to holidays, it has been very busy indeed. So, that’s why I apologise for neglecting the blog. And that’s why I am kick-starting this blog again with a sneak-peak at my new project which was inspired by that other project that I didn’t finish off. You know the one.

So, here are the first three in the new collector card game everone knows and loves, Sacreligious Sports! # 9, # 14, and # 21

NaNoWriMo

It’s apparently National Novel Writing Month all around the world! (National?! WHAT) And, being me and always wanting to write a novel, I signed up under the name of, surprise, surprise, numa_ninja. This is my big break, since I’ve been procrastinating this novel for what feels like ever. Well, I better be working hard, since to ‘win’ this challenge, you have to write a 50,000 word book. Good grief! So, don’t fret if I don’t write much on my blog, I need to complete this novel by the end of November! Their deadlines, not mine.

Iron Chef and Kirby-shaped Bushes

Iron Chef. It is incredibly ingenious. Last time a saw it, the main ingredient was curry powder. And one chef made CURRY POWDER ICE CREAM. Now that’s ingenious last time I checked. The commentary are also fantastic - they even managed to squeeze a dumb blond dub for one of the hosts. All she said was “Ooh, yes it looks like he’s making ice cream!” and “Look! He’s putting the pie in the oven!”. The dialogue is just bursting with creativity. Mind you, not as creative as the dishes some of the chefs cooked. I really couldn’t handle that much curry.

On to other things. I have started my gardening career! Yes, I have planted a bush, in the hope of it growing into a Kirby! Pretty sad I know, but I am planning to shape it into a Kirby-inspired blob of leaves. Also, he’ll be holding a bamboo stick, for extra-added awesomeness. I can definitely handle that much Kirby.

Handwritten

Most people use Photoshop. Some might use Gimp, or Paint.NET. Others just might use plain MS Paint. But no, not for me. I use that little pen tab in the corner of the conversations box on MSN. Yes, I use the handwriting tool. So, that means no special circle tools or basic text tools, just pure hand-drawn fun. And,  I have discovered a new style. This is just a sneak-peek of another up and coming Image Pack.

Sporadic Albums™ Pty. Ltd.

Using the following formula, I have managed to construct yet another piece of album art, but not for our band. Yes, I lack inspiration.

Holidays

Holidays. There are advantages, and disadvantages:

Advantages:

  • Getting to ride on a bike in pouring rain.
  • Playing table tennis.

Disadvantages:

  • Mum getting lost on her bike.
  • Not getting to write in my blog.

Aah, so that’s why I haven’t written that much since I said I was going away! Yes, Mum did get lost for quite a while..

This blog has been fast-tracked from the US.

Most of the programs that are on channels nowadays are fast-tracked from the US. It’s almost as if the word “fast-tracked” is being completely overused. How do we actually know if that program was aired yesterday? It could have been aired last season in the US for all we know. Well, that’s timezones for you. You always get yesterday’s crap from America.
